Just heard back from the dealer. I would shift to neutral and back to drive and it would be OK. I just want to get the car fixed, it's obviously a powertrain problem, from what I am reading. Same issue as day before, it would just toggle between Drive and Park. I had to pay for the extra miles from the tow and i wasn't given a rental vehicle for either incident.
